Going out with Pola for a while.
As always, she jumps down the stairs joyfully. As always, a few steps ahead of me. She's snorting with excitement and trying to push the staircase door off its hinges.
It's snowing, but surprisingly warm. The heavy snowflakes are falling on the black patches on her fur as she stares at the sky with amazement.
Just a second later she's running through the snowdrifts and bouncing amusingly when the icy ground turns out to be too cold for her little pink paws.
Then, she stops. Her tail goes straight and and the floppy ears rise slightly. A group of adorable ruddy-cheeks kids in thick snow coats is waddling happily to the nursery school.
One of the girls stops. She's seen the doggie and the doggie's seen her. They keep watching each other for a while, both of them with equal amazement. The little members of the snowmen herd bump into each other, one after the other. "We're going, hurry up kids!" - the teachers are trying to handle the situation. A little bit reluctantly, all the little snowmans eventually set back in their places.
They're going again.
I'm glad.
For you and the other wonderful creatures of this world!
