The first thing I want to say: it's more than just 'a bit wonderful' to back on here. It's amazing. During the last month I've missed you all here on dA incredibly and each of the countless messages I got made me feel.. I think I've run out of words right here. Thank you. I have many, many things to catch up with.. hundreds of feedback and thousands of the watch messages.. I did not forget about any of the presents, too. Just be patient with me.
Now, let's move on to the actual update (or to the very end of my journal, if you don't have a willing to waste a few minutes of your life reading about mine )
So, despite of the not-really-wonderful situation in my family, I did celebrate something in the shape of Christmas... one week before the actual date of it. With the wonderful (andat times fabulously annoying ) friend of mine.. Daria.
We had our own little Christmas party.
With our own little Christmas decorations..
Red borsch with.. "ears"..
Our own traditional Polish dishes.. (bought in the local shop, of course )
And MY own little hairy kid..
All of us three had fabulous fun. We were eating, laughing, playing silly games.. laughing again.. and karaokeing.
No, I will NEVER have enough courage to say we were singing.
So.. we were trying to imitate some super-popular annoying Christmas songs, some pop ones from the radio.. and even some Queen! We "sang" My Fairy King. And no, she hadn't heard it before.
Then, I dimmed the light and we started the whole present-giving ceremony. From me, she got the sweetest gift possible.. let me explain:
- three candles smelling like cookies with sugar, chocolate cake and toffee (in a wrapping with the wonderful stars by AnnaPaar on it annapaar.deviantart.com/art/12… )
- chocolate incense sticks hand-rolled in India (I got them in a local shop )
- a coke-tasting lipstick,
- a story written by me (it's understandable only for us, that's why I won't post it on here) with loads of pictures from our summer adventures
I'm pretty happy with all of the things I gave her, especially the last one. It was a short story about one day when I was sick and she came to visit me. All in all, I think I managed to capture the sense of our friendship.
A bit silly, a bit wonderful…
And look what I got from her!
A beautiful psychedelic portrait of mine. An even more beautiful picture of Pola in autumn leaves.
And the most beautiful earrings, with the most FABULOUS creature that ever lived on this planet.
AND a poem. Not going to translate it, either.
Also, for the Freddiellionth time in my life I realized how much I love her.
On the real Christmas Eve I experienced an unannounced visit of a beautiful long-haired Santa Claus.
Being my a friend of mine, Ola.
Look at the little treasures she brought with herself!
Fantabulous mug with a Pola-looking dog on it… a little "book" about friendship with a very moving dedication and an awesome Christmas card.
Inspired by exil7 (fav.me/d5nnzmv) I decided to decorate my Christmas tree with a face of a man who's actually able to beat Chuck Norries, in my opinion. Just like Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, of course.
My mother was not very fond of that idea..
The rest of my holidays, I spent baking, eating the stuff I baked, hugging my dog and being hugged by the dog of mine.
What else happened during my dA break.. I got a little book-prize for the highest average of grades. I'm proud of myself.
I was invited to a kind of Art classes at the Culture Center. Who knows, maybe it means I'm gonna improve at drawing.
I love you all, as much as Pola adores the snow.
And more with every day.

Fabulous Friend Feature #1 - PrinceSsCarmilla
A month after being announced, here it is - the very first Fabulous Friend Feature.
I've chosen to begin this series with a very special person PrinceSsCarmilla (https://www.deviantart.com/princesscarmilla).
Monique is an outstanding artist who deals well with any style, including pointilism. She has a great taste in art and music and she's always been one of the kindest people I have met on deviantArt. Her talent and modesty never fail to amaze me... and now it's your turn to show her some love. Isn't she amazing?
Fabulous Friend Feature announcement
Hello!
Since I've been more active on here lately and I have kind of renewed my old friendships (and also started some new ones) I have been reminded of how kind and special you all are. I am especially thankful to those of you who didn't forget me through all those years and kept sending me messages and posting birthday wishes.
Because of that, I would like to start a special series of Fabulous Friend Feature. I will feature one of you, not only because you are wonderful people but also amazing artists. It won't be anything regular... I will just do this when I have time. But I will do my best.
Have a great day!
Hello...
I’m back.
I was away for long. I don’t even know what was the main reason. I had a huge art block. I was busy. At some point I just felt like this place is not the same as it used to. But I missed it….I miss you, honestly.
I’ve made such amazing friendships here. It amazes me how even after all that time of my absence there are still some of you sending me notes, birthday wishes. I am so thankful and deeply sorry for not replying to them. I tried to catch up with all you journals and art, but, as you may assume, there is a ton. If you want me to see and comment on any of your creations, please, please send me a mes
